Ingredients (5)
- 2 cups white sugar
- 7 cups water
- 300g fresh raspberries or frozen raspberries, pureed
- 8 large oranges, juiced
- chilled mineral water
Method
- Step 1 Combine sugar and water in a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until water comes to the boil and sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat.
- Step 2 Stir raspberries into warm sugar syrup. Cool to room temperature. Strain through a sieve. Discard pulp. Stir in 2 cups of juice.
- Step 3 Place mixture into an airtight container. Freeze overnight. Use a fork to break up mixture. Place back into freezer for 1 hour.
- Step 4 Scoop mixture into pre-chilled glasses. Pour over a little mineral water. Serve.
